Training Programme on "Research smarter with Web of Science and EndNote" Concludes

 The training program on "Research smarter with Web of Science and EndNote" organized by the Library was held on 22nd June, 2023. Dr. Subhasree A Nag, Solution Consultant, Clarivate, handled the training session. Dr. Subhasree gave a detailed demonstration of the advanced features of the Web of Science platform, to the faculty, researchers, and staff who attended this training session organised by the Central Library. Dr. Sainul Abideen P, Asst. Librarian welcomed Dr. Subhasree to the session that was held in the Computer Lab of the institute.

Book Release: "Tales of Neuroscience"

 

Dr. Sainul Abideen P, Asst. Librarian, receiving a copy of the book titled "Tales of Neuroscience" from Prof. J.N Moorthy, Director, IISER TVM. Prof. S Murty Srinivasula,Deputy Director, IISER TVM and Dr. Poonam Thakur also seen during the book release function held at IISER Thiruvananthapuram.

"Tales of Neuroscience", is a collection of articles on multiple aspects of Neuroscience written by students from across India.

This book covers the basics of neuroscience, the impact of neuroscience on our daily lives, mental health disorders, and the latest developments in neuroscience and technology. This book is published as part of the "Mind Gala".The Mind Gala is an initiative funded by the 2nd IndiaBioscience Outreach grant to encourage more students to explore neuroscience. 

Project Encephalon and the Thakur Neurodegeneration Lab have collaborated to organize a year-long neuroscience outreach initiative, The Mind Gala.
