Institute participation in International Training Programme on “Digital Library Practices & Information Technology Application for Knowledge Management"

Dr Sainul Abideen attended the International Training Programme on “Digital Library Practices & Information Technology Application for Knowledge Management” as resource person during 16-17 November 2015. 

This programme was organised by the Fluid Control Research Institute, Palakkad, for foreign nationals from South East Asian/ African Countries sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, under the Indian Technical Co-operation Scheme/ Colombo plan.
His sessions were attended by delegates from 15 countries.

IISER TVM participation in the 11th Annual Meet & Workshop of the INDEST-AICTE Consortium

IISER Thiruvananthapuram  participated in the 11th Annual Meet & Workshop of the INDEST-AICTE Consortium held at IISER Mohali held during 29-30 April 2015. 

Dr. Sainul abideen , Asst. Librarian delivered an invite talk on “Applications of ‘Wink’ Software in developing self-instructional tutorials for e-resources”, during the meet.

Invited Talk by Dr. Sainul Abideen in Calicut University

Dr. Sainul Abideen P, Asst. Librarian delivered an invited talk on ‘Design and Development of Online Tutorials’ in the 8th Refresher Course in Library and Information Science organised by the UGC Academic Staff College, University of Calicut on 13th February 2015.

Training Sessions on Digital Libraries at FCRI Palakkad

Dr Sainul Abideen, Asst. Librarian was invited to conduct training sessions on Developing Digital Libraries using GenISISWeb for the participants of the International Training Programme on Digital Library Practices & Information Technology Application for Knowledge Management organized by the Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) Plakkad, (under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt. of India) during 11-12  December 2014. Delegates from 20 countries attended his sessions.
