Trial Access to Bentham Science e-Journals and e-Books

Trial access to the Bentham Science Publisher's e-journals and e-books is activated for IISER Thiruvananthapuram till January 11th, 2022.  

IISER TVM community may view all Bentham Science journal issues (2000-2021) in full text and sample e-book content, which will allow users to access sample over 800 eBooks.

Exhibition of Hindi Books concludes

An Exhibition of Hindi Books was jointly organized by the Central Library and the Official Language Implementation Committee of the Institute during 24-25 September 2021.

A large number of Hindi books were displayed in the exhibition, which was inaugurated on 24th by Prof. JN Moorthy, Director IISER Thiruvananthapuram.

Prof S. Murty Srinivasula (Prof. Incharge-Administration), Col. Robinson George (Retd) (Registrar), Prof.Yashwant D Vankar (Emeritus Professor), Deans, HoDs, faculty members, staff, and students of the institute attended the inaugural function and visited the exhibition. During the inaugural session, Prof. JN Moorthy and Prof.Vankar shared their experience in Hindi. 

The exhibition was held as part of the Hindi Week Fortnight celebrations organized by the Institute.

Central Library Resumes Functioning on Weekends and Holidays

 Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the functioning of the library was not available during weekends and holidays.

Today (27.09.2021) onwards the library remains open on all weekends and holidays also, except on 3 holidays in a year i.e. January 26, August 15, and October 2.

All are requested to kindly make use of this facility, strictly following the Covid-19 protocol.

An exhibition of Hindi Books will be jointly organised by the  Central Library and the Official Language Implementation Committee, IISER Thiruvananthapuram at the Chemical Sciences Building of the Institute during 24-25, Sept 2021.

The Exhibition will be inaugurated by Prof. JN Moorthy, Director, IISER Thiruvananthapuram at 3.30 PM on 24th Sept 2021.

All IISER Community are invited. All are requested to follow social distance and wear masks.
