Group-based library orientation sessions for the MSc., IPhD, and PhD (Batch 22) students
were conducted from 2nd August 2022 to 12th August 2022 in the Central Library. The students were divided into different groups, and they were given detailed orientation on how to use the
print and online resources of the Library. Each session lasted over 2 hrs. Students
were also taken a tour of the library and illustrated its functioning. Demonstration of the RF-ID self-check-in check-out kiosk facility, use of library OPAC,
book reservation facility, etc. also conducted . Mobile Library Services,
Online journals, archival volumes, video resources, bibliographic and full-text
resources, plagiarism detection tools, Grammar checking tools, reference
management tools, etc. were also
demonstrated to the users, during the training programme coordinated by Dr. Sainul Abideen officer-in-charge (Library).
