Access to the IUPAC Standards Online Database
Free access to the IUPAC Standards Online database has been made available to IISER TVM until December 2020.
About IUPAC Standards Online
"IUPAC Standards Online is a unique compilation of the
internationally-binding standards and recommendations for chemistry and
related fields created by the International Union of Pure and Applied
Chemistry (IUPAC).
These standards and recommendations, extracted from the IUPAC Journal Pure and Applied Chemistry (PAC), are used worldwide by scientists in industry and academia, patent lawyers, toxicologists, environmental scientists, legislators and others who need access to the authoritative information on chemical nomenclature, symbols, terminology, units, weights, measures, and similar scientific conventions.
Updated annually, integrating the new standards and recommendations published in the prior year, the database provides granular access to the content and enables finding specific information quickly and easily. Numerous search indicators, sorting criteria, and refining options can be used to simplify the selection of the items. The product is supplied with auxiliary material introducing the main functionalities of the database.
