Central Library in the Permanent Campus Inaugurated

The Central Library in the permanent campus of the institute was opened on 30^th  July 2016.  Prof. V Ramakrishnan, Director, IISER Thiruvananthapuram inaugurated the library in the presence of Shri M Radhakrishnan, Registrar, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, Prof. M.P.Rajan, Dean (Academic Affairs), Dr. Anil Shaji Associate Dean (Planning & Development),  Dr. Ramesh Chandra Nath, Associate Dean (Students Affairs), Prof .S. Murty Srinivasula, Dr. Archana Pai (Faculty in Charge Library), Head of Departments, other faculty & staff members, students etc. A fully air conditioned wifi enabled library, provide access to the books and other resources to the users. Digital Library provides access to thousands of e-books, e-journals and databases round the clock. Online resources can be accessed from all computers connected to the institute network. Library will also facilitate a Digital Library corridor with several computers for accessing the online resources. Library is completely automated using Evergreen integrated library automation software.
